The Central Sanskrit University, Delhi, has
officially announced the Scheme for Promotion of Sanskrit for the academic year
2025–2026. If you are a student of Sanskrit, Pali, or Prakrit in a recognized
institution, this is your opportunity to apply for financial assistance through
their prestigious scholarship program.
Who Can Apply?
Students pursuing Sanskrit (or
Pali/Prakrit) as a main or optional subject in:

A) Eligibility
Traditional Stream
For obtaining the scholarships under
Traditional Stream, student must have passed the previous qualifying
examination with 60% (General) 55% (OBC) & 50% (ST/ST/PH).

students must meet specific academic criteria and have Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit as

Note: Merit of all Modern Stream to be
calculated on the basis of Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit marks only. Further in
Traditional stream or Honours in Sanskrit/Pali/Prakrit to be calculated on
overall percentage of all subjects.

Rate of Scholarship
The scholarship amount is distributed for
10 months in an academic year (except Ph.D.). The details are as follows:
