UGC-NET June 2025 Notification: Key Dates and Details
The
National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted by the University Grants
Commission (UGC) to conduct the UGC-NET June 2025 for 85 subjects. This exam
determines the eligibility of Indian nationals for:
- Award of Junior Research
Fellowship (JRF)
- Appointment as Assistant
Professor
- Both JRF and Assistant
Professor
- Admission to Ph.D. programs in
Indian universities and colleges.

- Candidates must apply online
only via https://ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Applications in any other mode will be rejected.
- Only one application per
candidate is allowed.
- Candidates must follow
instructions provided in the Information Bulletin on the NTA website.
Non-compliance will result in disqualification.
- The email ID and mobile number
used must belong to the candidate or their parents/guardians. All official
communication will be sent to these registered details.
