Re-Exam Option Announced by OSSC for Hindi Teacher Main Exam 2025 – Pedagogy & Evaluation Paper

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released a critical update regarding the Hindi Teacher Main Written Examination held on 15th May 2025. This concerns the Pedagogy and Evaluation section of the exam, which was not provided in English (Roman Script) as promised in the official advertisement.

Key Details of the OSSC Re-Exam Notice

1. Exam Pattern Clarification

•  Total Questions: 150
•   Hindi: 130 questions
•   Pedagogy & Evaluation: 20 questions

Issue: The Pedagogy & Evaluation section was only in Hindi, contrary to the earlier promise of dual-language (Hindi & English).

2. Re-Examination Option Available

OSSC is providing a choice to candidates who appeared on 15.05.2025:

Option A: Retain and evaluate existing answers for Pedagogy and Evaluation.

Option B: Appear for a fresh exam for the 20 questions from the Pedagogy & Evaluation section.

Important: The 130 Hindi questions will be evaluated as they are. This section remains unaffected.

3. Fresh Exam Details

• Duration: 16 minutes
• Questions: 20 (only Pedagogy and Evaluation)
• Language: Will follow the correct format as per the original advertisement.

Note: Once a candidate opts for the re-exam, the earlier answers will not be evaluated. The decision is final and irreversible.

4. How to Opt for Re-Exam

Online Link Activation:

  Available on the OSSC official website from 19.05.2025 to 21.05.2025. No further requests or changes will be accepted post 21st May 2025.

What Happens if You Don’t Respond?

Candidates who don’t fill the online form will have their existing Pedagogy and Evaluation answers evaluated.

Those who respond but do not opt for re-exam will also have their current answers considered.
