The Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) has officially released the OST 2025 Notification for the recruitment of Post Graduate Teachers (PGT), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT), and Primary Teachers (PRT) in 137 Army Public Schools (APS) across India.

🟠 TGT (Physical Education)

Eligible if any one of the following is fulfilled:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with 50%
• Bachelor's with 45% + sports participation at national/state/university level
• 45% marks + 3 years teaching experience (in-service candidates)
• Graduation in Physical Education (B.P.Ed. 3 years)
• 40% in Physical Education (elective or full degree)
• NCC ‘C’ Certificate or sports participation + 40%
• Represented university/state in sports/athletics
• 1st/2nd/3rd place in inter-collegiate games
• 1-year diploma in Sports Science/Coaching/Yoga/Journalism etc. as per NCTE norms
• B.P.Ed. (minimum 1 year) from NCTE recognized institute

🟡 PRT (Primary Teacher) – Classes I to V

Criteria	Qualification
1	Graduate with 50% aggregate marks
2	D.El.Ed. (2 years) or B.El.Ed. OR B.Ed. (for existing APS staff before 11 Aug 2023)
3	Pass in CTET/TET for Primary Level
4	Proficiency in English and Hindi
5	Basic computer skills

🔴 PRT (Physical Education)

Eligible if any one of the following is met:

• Graduate with PE as elective with 50%
• Graduate with PE (45%) + participation in state/university/national games
• In-service teachers with 45% + 3 years’ experience
• 40% in PE (elective or full)
• NCC ‘C’ Certificate or sports participation
• B.P.Ed. (3 years or 1 year) from NCTE-recognized institute
• Represented state/university
• Inter-collegiate winner or Adventure Sports certificate holder
• 1-year specialized training in Sports/Yoga/Coaching/Journalism etc. (NCTE recognized)
